Mount Bulusan in Sorsogon has once again spewed ash.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or PHIVOLCS says, a phreatic explosion at the western side of the volcano which measured about 2 kilometers in height was recorded at 11 o’clock this morning.
PHIVOLCS has noted around 113 episodes of volcanic quake prior to the spew of ash.
Brgy. Cogon in the town of Irosin and Brgy. Puting Sapa in Juban have been affected by the ash of the volcano.
The volcano, which was reported to have spewed ash last February, is currently being observed by PHIVOLCS.
The agency, reiterated that residents are prohibited from entering the declared 4 kilometer radius permanent danger zone.
