Members of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan-Southern Tagalog say, the group is not marching in protest but in support of the new administration. According to Bayan Secretary General Renato Reyes, they are highlighting the people’s demand for peace under the theme : with “Bigkisan para sa Pagbabago, Kaunlaran at Kapayapaan.”
