MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) immediately arrested Hoyt Alderman, a 58-year old American yoga instructor, upon his arrival at the NAIA Terminal 2.
The United States Homeland Security tipped off the PNP to arrest the suspect before he can carry out his plan to abuse minors.
“The initial luring, enticing or procuring because there already had been a communication. He paid them so it is a continuous offense. He already committed the crime,” PNP-WCPC Anti-Trafficking in Persons Division Chief PS/Supt. Villamor Tuliao said.
According to the Homeland Security, the 58-year old suspect targets poor and vagabond children for sexual exploitation.
Social networking site fed the information to the homeland security to divulge the plan of Alderman.
“Social media has the social responsibility to advise authority about a red flag especially child pornography,” Tuliao said.
PNP operatives seized from Alderman various sex toys and paraphernalia, the suspect was supposed to use for a sex video.
The yoga instructor allegedly plans to imitate the movie “Fifty Shades of Grey”, and sell the video to pedophiles on the deep web.
“What he wants is that he will rent an old apartment, he will buy an old dilapidated van purposely to abduct other victims and he will buy a motorcycle to assist in the abduction,” PNP-WCPC Operations Management Divisions Chief P/Supt. Marie Sheila Portento said.
Authorities have rescued the victims of Alderman.
The suspect is now facing charges for violating the expanded Anti-Human Trafficking Law before the Department of Justice. – Mon Jocson | UNTV News & Rescue
