MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has no Cabinet position to offer Vice President Leni Robredo for now.
This is the response of Malacañang to reports that the vice president is willing to accept if offered a new Cabinet post.
The vice president resigned as a Cabinet member particularly from her chairmanship of Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) in December 2016 after she was advised not to attend the Cabinet meetings of President Duterte.
“To the vice president, we appreciate her readiness, unfortunately, there seems no offer as of now,” said Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque. — UNTV News & Rescue
