MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director PSSupt. Guillermo Eleazar belied allegations in a viral video that showed children being kidnapped in Quezon City and their internal organs being taken.
The said video is now circulating on social media.
Eleazar said that the police cannot consider it as valid information since it has not received any reports about it.
The police official advised netizens to stop sharing such videos on social media since it only causes fear and panic among the public.
“Lahat ng mga report na yun in so far are we concerned are fake news. Ang iba kasi sabi, ‘Concerned kami kaya gusto namin i-share.’ Ang shini-share nila ay takot. Hindi yung information, which is wrong,” Eleazar said.
