MANILA, Philippines —Solicitor General Jose Calida claims that Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno has no integrity to seat as the chief justice of the Supreme Court.
In his reply to the comment of Sereno on the quo warranto petition, Calida said Sereno had repeatedly lied about her Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN).
He cited as an example the allegedly falsified SALN of Sereno submitted to the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) when she applied as its associate justice in 2010.
For Calida, Sereno should be ousted since her appointment is null and void.
“If you are lying in your SALN, are you a person of integrity?” asked the solicitor general. — UNTV News & Rescue
