MANILA, Philippines — Twelve individuals were arrested in a series of anti-illegal drugs operations of the Northern Police District (NPD) in Malabon City, Wednesday night.
Authorities first arrested alleged drug pusher Marvin Orano alias Mabong.
Mabon, meanwhile, named the 11 individuals he has been supplying with illegal drugs.
Eighty-four grams of suspected shabu, two hand grenades, a gun, and ammunition were seized from the arrested suspects.
Meanwhile, John Paul Torres alias JP was not able to resist arrest during a buy-bust operation in Columbia Corner St. Mary’s Street, in Cubao Quezon City, Wednesday night.
An informant tipped off authorities about the suspect’s peddling of illegal drugs, and that many of his customers were tricycle drivers in Cubao.
Six sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated by the Quezon City police from Torres.
“According sa SDEU, yung kanilang intelligence report ay nagbebenta sa mga tricycle driver rin dito sa barangay na ito,” said QCPD Station 7 commander PSupt. Louise Benjie Tremor.

Torres, on the other hand, denied selling the contraband but admitted to using illicit drugs.
“Kapag may gagawin akong importante, kunyari may gagawin ako sa bahay, gagawin sa motor. Pampagana lang po,” said the suspect.
