Malacañang is planning to disclose next week a detailed report on drug-related killings in legitimate operations held by the Philippine National Police (PNP).
This is in response to calls from the international community critical of the Duterte administration’s war on drugs campaign.
“In a few months, I will have a file each for every killing reported by the PNP indicating that there was no excessive use of force,” Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque said.
Roque added that “if there’s reason to file charges against the killers,” he will encourage such move to clear accusations that the government is not acting on the issues of drug-related killings in the country. — Rosalie Coz | UNTV News & Rescue
