MANILA, Philippines – Fire engulfed the entire building of the Land Management Bureau (LMB)in Binondo, Manila at 12:30 AM, Monday, May 28.
The LMB admitted that the massive blaze that raged the agency’s building caused huge loss of land documents.
Nevertheless, the agency assured land owners that they have saved copies of the burnt documents.
“At least nakapag-digitize naman kami ng mga land records( At least we were able to digitize the land records),” said Atty. Emilym Talabis, the Bureau’s director.
