MAKATI CITY, Philippines – One hundred individuals, including 10 minors, were arrested by Makati City police on Tuesday for various violations.
The minors were picked up by police for violating the curfew ordinance in the city, while eight others were captured due to illegal drugs.
The operation was prompted by several complaints of pick-pocketing in Burgos Triangle.
“The Burgos Triangle ay mga playing grounds ito ng ating mga tourists at kailangang malinis ito (The Burgos Triangle is the playground of tourists. It must be kept clean),” said Makati police chief PSSupt Roger Simon. — Asher Cadapan Jr.| UNTV News & Rescue
