LAGUNA, Philippines – Following months of surveillance, authorities nabbed Salve Gogolin and her son Richard, in a drug buy-bust operation Wednesday night, June 20, in Barangay Pansol, Calamba, Laguna.
Aside from the two, police also arrested on site three individuals in the act of trading illegal drugs. They were identified as John Lexter Leonen , Joy Magnaye and Zaida Pagsaligan.
Redentor Ulsano, Chief of Calamba Police.
Authorities recovered from the suspects six packets of suspected shabu and the P500 marked money.
PSupt. Ulsano said Salve admitted she was forced into illegal drug trading due to poverty.
