
PNP Chief Police Director General Oscar Albayalde
QUEZON CITY, Philippines – Members of Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested a cop on absent without leave (AWOL) in Guiguinto, Bulacan on Sunday night, June 17.
This was confirmed by PNP Chief Police Director General Oscar Albayalde in a briefing with reporters Friday, June 21.
He was identified as SPO2 Ferdinand Cajipe who was included in President Duterte’s drug watchlist for having links with big-time drug lord Peter Co.
Cajipe was a former member of Police Security Protection Group.
He is facing robbery and extortion charges filed by Myrna Garmedia on January 18, 2002.
“Garmedia testified that Cajipe and three other police officers brought her to Manila Police District Station 11, threatened her; planted shabu and took her money amounting to P100,000,” Albayalde said. – UNTV News & Rescue
