Slain Korean businessman Jee Ick Joo
QUEZON CITY, Philippines – Primary suspects in the killing of Korean businessman Jee Ick Joo appealed for transfer of detention.
In their 8-page motion, PSupt. Rafael Dumlao III, SPO3 Ricky Sta. Isabel and Jerry Omlang insisted an existing threat to their safety that’s why they are requesting to be transferred to the facility of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Sta. Isabel and Omlang are currently detained in the jail facility of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in Manila while Dumlao is detained inside Camp Crame.
The suspects were arrested last year for their alleged participation in the kidnapping and killing of Joo that happened within the premises of the PNP Headquarters in Camp Crame. – UNTV News & Rescue
