MRT-7 construction
Several lanes in North Avenue and Elliptical Road are set to close for MRT-7 construction.
From December 27, only four lanes of North Avenue near the Quezon Memorial Circle will remain open to motorists until the MRT construction is finished.
Seven lanes will be left open in Elliptical Road in Quezon Avenue until January 8.
Meanwhile, MMDA has completely set aside the assignment of High-Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes in EDSA.
MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia said that the step is in respect to the resolution issued by the Senate abolishing the said program due to criticisms it has earned. — UNTV News & Rescue
