MANILA, Philippines—Over 80 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been delivered to the Philippines so far, according to the National Task Force (NTF) against COVID-19.
National Task Force (NTF) against COVID-19 chief implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. reported that 80,415,200 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been delivered to the country as of October 6.
Galvez also said the country expects to receive a total of 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine this month.
For October, 10 million procured Pfizer vaccines, 5 million doses from Moderna, 10 million doses from Sinovac, and 5.9 million doses donated by the United States government through the COVAX facility are scheduled to be delivered.
The NTF official said the national government is in talks with four other vaccine manufacturers to secure 90 to 100 million COVID-19 vaccine doses for 2022. AAC
