MANILA, Philippines — Muling dumistansya ang Malakanyang sa mga lumabas na bagong alegasyon laban kay Vice President Jejomar Binay kaugnay sa ginagawang imbestigasyon ng Senado sa overpriced Makati City Hall Building 2.
Partikular na rito ang mahigit tatlong daang ektaryang lupain sa Batangas na pagmamayari umano ng Bise Presidente.
Pahayag ni Presidential Spokesperson Sec. Edwin Lacierda, “They have invoked politically-motivated, I would suppose it’s up to their camp to weight whether that is good enough response for the public to appreciate. But again, we will leave it to the camp of Vice President Binay”
Ayon pa kay Sec. Lacierda, hindi rin sila makikialam sa isyu kung kinakailangang humarap na sa Senate probe si VP Binay kaugnay ng overpriced Makati City Hall Building II.
Kaugnay nito, pinabulaanan rin ng Malakanyang na may kinalaman sila sa pagpapalabas ng mga ebidensiya laban sa Bise Presidente dahil sa isyung pulitikal.
Dagdag pa ni Sec. Lacierda, “We are not aware of any moves by anyone in government. We’re not using government resources as to how this was being revealed. We are like you, this is the first time we’re looking at the video presentation of Vice Mayor Mercado.”
