Pres. Aquino, tiniyak sa semiconductor at electronic industries na gagawin ang lahat ng paraan upang masolusyunan ang 2015 power crisis

MANILA, Philippines – Pinawi ni Pangulong Benigno Aquino III ang pangamba ng semiconductor at electronics industries sa banta ng power shortage sa 2015.

Sa talumpati ni Pangulong Aquino nitong hapon ng Martes sa 13th CEO forum and 118th General Membership Meeting of the Semiconductor and Electronics, sinabi nito na ginagawa na ng pamahalaan ang lahat ng paraan upang matugunan ang nakaambang power crisis at isa na rito ang paghingi na dagdag kapangyarihan sa kongreso.

“I would like to assure to you today that the government is doing everything in it’s capacity to meet our energy requirements and by doing so sustain our economic momentum,” anang Pangulo.

Kaugnay nito, pinasalamatan naman ni Pangulong Aquino ang tatlumput tatlong electronics companies na sumali sa Interruptible Load Program (ILP) ng pamahalaan.

Hinikayat rin ng pangulo ang ibang kumpanya na makibahagi rin sa ILP upang makatulong upang bumaba ang demand ng kuryente sa 2015.

Dagdag pa ni Pangulong Aquino, ilang hakbang na rin ang ginagawa ng pamahalaan upang hindi masamantala ang nakaambang krisis at hindi tumaas ang presyo ng kuryente sa 2015.
