“According to the decision reached by a high-level official meeting and the direction of President Ma Ying-jeou and Premier Jiang Yi-huah’s, on behalf of our government, I announce that from today on, the eleven sanctions on the Philippines have been cancelled.”

Dagdag pa ni Lin, “our government will still regularly patrol to protect our fishery rights in the southern exclusive economic zone. We hope the Philippines will take specific actions to repair the bilateral relations.”

(Bianca Dava / Ruth Navales, UNTV News)
