PASAY CITY, Philippines —
An estimated 2-million peso worth of illegal drugs has been recovered by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Included were 1,000 pieces of ecstasy pills with an assessed value of P1,440,000 and 53 grams of shabu with P265,000 street value, hidden in a bicycle.

Meanwhile, 16 grams of shabu worth P80,000 were found inside a pair of shoes.

(We have our ways of detecting creatively concealed contrabands.)

BOC continues its investigation in determining who is behind the said drug smuggling.
