John Paul Macalindong, 18, is among the hopefuls who came to the program ‘Serbisyong Kasangbahay’ of Mr. Public Service Kuya Daniel Razon.
He is asking for educational assistance because his parents can no longer support his college education.
John wishes to enroll in La Verdad Christian College-Caloocan (LVCC-Caloocan), but he failed to meet the deadline for registration to take the entrance examination.
“I told him he just needs to take the entrance examination on October so that in the 2nd semester, he could be accommodated,” said Mr. Tykes Villagomez III, registrar.
“Meanwhile, aside from what you are watching here in ‘Serbisyong Kasangbahay,’ we also extend help to those who have small wishes or munting pangarap,” said Razon during his program.
Among them is Charlie Ortega, a resident of Malolos, Bulacan, who has been peddling goods for more than a decade now using his old bicycle.
Charlie has an existing P3,000 loan that he’s been trying to pay every week. He would set aside a portion from his meager earning of P300 to P500 to raise the needed amount for payment.
He would then make ends meet for his family with the remaining amount.
“We are able to go on in grace because I always hope that God is always there for us. As long as we are not doing anything bad, He will not forsake us,” Ortega said.
Through the help of Bro. Eli Soriano and Kuya Daniel Razon, Charlie was granted his wish of a new bicycle and capital for his small business.
“First, I thank God. And second, to Kuya Daniel and Bro Eli. All glory is to God.” Ortega said thankfully.
